Chrome Depot Applications

Hello students!   We are looking to share an opportunity with you.  As you know, we have transitioned to a 1:1 with Chromebooks this school year.  It is our goal to begin second semester with a team of tech-fluent students dedicated to assisting with technology in our building.  This will be called the Chrome Depot and it will be housed in the LRC.  We are looking for 2-3 students for each lunch period(4-7) to assist us for our pilot semester.

There will be two types of roles we are trying to fill for our CHROME DEPOT:

  1. Customer Service: Face to Face Interactions Assisting students and staff with troubleshooting technology, creating tutorials for technology, researching best tools/products, managing and facilitating makerspace activities.

  2. Tech Maintenance: Behind the Scenes  Assisting the LRC and IT staff with break/fix equipment needs, Maintain tech equipment in the MakerSpace, Support teachers in the classroom when tech issues arise with AV/Media, etc…

Based on your application and review of your grades, attendance, teacher references and dean’s report, we will be choosing students through an interview process to take place during finals week.  Please be on the lookout for a follow-up email from Mrs. Simoncelli to set up an interview.
